Retinol And Anti-Aging Products
Tuesday, January 20th, 2009There is some debate as to whether or not Retinol, a derivative of vitamin A, is an effective ingredient in anti-aging products.
Some research suggests it is very powerful as an anti-wrinkle solution but for other aging issues, there is little evidence that shows it helps fight aging skin.
One study done by the University of Michigan found it helped participants over a course of six months but only in treating wrinkles. But if you also have dark under eyes or puffy eyes, then products that contain Retinol may not be the best for you.
